Each year, Business Leader ranks the Top 300 Small Businesses of the West.

Rankings are based on financial performance, business achievement, and community involvement. 

Events will be held in Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Denver, Silicon Valley and Orange County to honor the Winners.

Mark Stark, a focused, positive and hard driving fixture in the Las Vegas real estate scene, has worked with the same company for more than 25 years where he started as a REALTOR. In 1997, he became a partner and CEO of Prudential, Americana Group. In 2004, Mark acquired 100% ownership in the company and remains its sole owner today. He now operates both Nevada and Arizona’s largest Prudential franchises with a combined 1,900 real estate sales executives and 18 branch offices throughout the two states.

Mark entered the real estate world as an agent in 1985, when he was a student at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He began his career selling real estate. Five years later he joined the management ranks of the company and shortly there after earned the privilege of running his own branch office, which at the time was the lowest producing office in the company. Under Mark’s leadership, his team transformed that office and it became the highest producing office in less than three years.

Known throughout Las Vegas for his tough but enthusiastic leadership style, Mark is actively involved in the community as a board member for Opportunity Village, a member of the large broker committee for Prudential Real Estate Affiliates and a member of Vistage, an International Organization of CEOs. A passionate community organizer, Mark has helped thousands of people across the country and given hundreds of thousands of dollars to such deserving causes as Toys for Tots, Sunshine Kids Foundation, Opportunity Village and the American Cancer Society.

Winners will need to check in at the registration table prior to the event. If a representative of a winner is present to accept the award, they will need to check in. Any winners who do not check in risk being omitted from the event program.


If you have not already done so, please send us the names and companies of each of your attendees.  If we receive this by the morning of the day before the event we will have a name tag ready for attendees when they arrive at the event. If we do not receive this information in advance of the event, we will have someone available at the event to make name tags.


If you have purchased a table, you will have a table reserved with your Company name on it. If you have not purchased a table, seating is general seating. Please take any available seat upon your arrival.
